Once flash is setup properly with the mms.cfg, it will do background updates automatically from now on.

Wrap the MSI (again, /qn /norestart ALLUSERS=1 /L*v "%TEMP%\FlashInstall.log" works good) and a filecopy into a batch file and run that via SCCM/GPOĪdobe reader: Sign up for an adobe distribute account to get the MSI, push it with SCCM/GPO in the same manner above (/qn /norestart ALLUSERS=1 /L*v "%TEMP%\AdobeReader.log")

Read the admin guide to properly configure an mms.cfg file with the options to enable silent updates (again, im not at work, cant remember off the top of my head, but its a txt file with 2 lines in it). Java: Run the installer, and leave it open (dont press next) Delve into your %Appdata% Folder (actually it might be locallow, i dont even remember, but basically, you can grab the MSI file and copy it to a network share Batch file/GPO it up with a /qn /norestart ALLUSERS=1 /L*v "%TEMP%\JavaInstall.log" or something similar and push it out via GPO/SCCM/Whateverįlash: Sign up for An adobe distribute account, to get ahold of the MSI installers. These are VERY Basic walkthru's of some of how we do it at my work

is good for small shops, but for larger shops, SCCM/GPO/Altiris/Landesk/scripted installs at startup are an excellent idea.
